First time in bottles!
Tuesday, October 2, 2018 we release Putin the Terrible, our Russian Imperial Stout aged on Bourbon barrels. Probably one of the best beers we have made to date….this is not to be missed. We open at 4pm. Limit of 6 bottles per person.
J & B’s Bucket List will also be here at 5pm……chicken and waffles, beef sliders, tacos, cheesy grits, potato hash, scotch eggs, deep fried deviled eggs… Perfect for washing down a bottle of Putin.
Our Russian Imperial Stout is made in the tradition of 18th Century English brewers, who supplied this style to the royal court of Russia’s Catherine the Great. This version of the style uses slightly higher hopping rates of Centennial and Chinook hops to balance the beer. The result is an intense brew with rich complex flavors and a warm finish. Putin may be terrible but this beer isn’t.
