This stout was brewed specifically for the eclipse. We wanted a beer that was timeless so we researched pre-prohibition stouts and developed a recipe that mimics the dry and pungent stouts of the early 1900s. This beer includes ingredients that are not commonly found in modern day beers including invert sugar, licorice, oat malt and even a small component of linseed. It’s dark and rich with a finish that lingers for days. Perfect for a dark day afternoon.
