Dubbel Dog Dare – Belgian Dubbel
Check out the brewery sign – that’s Tassie, the brewery dog! Tassie’s beer is a classic Belgian style abbey ale. It’s full flavored and malty, but has a dry finish with some toffee notes. The yeast also adds a layer of subtle Belgian fruitiness.
S.M.A.S.H. – Pale Ale
S.M.A.S.H. beers are defined by their simplicity. Single Malt And Single Hop. This is our rotating series of beers featuring regional and worldwide malts and hops. Our 7th in the series uses Carolina Gold malt from North Carolina and Nelson Sauvin hops from New Zealand. A nicely balanced beer that showcases both malt and hops.
Femme Petale – Honey Hibiscus Saison
This Saison was brewed with the Charleston BREWSTERS, an organization that encourages women to brew at local Charleston breweries, and they did an awesome job. We brewed a Saison and added Hibiscus flowers in the kettle and honey in the fermenter.
Tart Vader – Berliner Weisse
This sour wheat is bright, tart and refreshing. Napoleon’s troops referred to Berliner Weisse as the “Champagne of the North” due to its lively and elegant character. Our representation of this classic German style wheat beer is kettle soured, and lightly hopped resulting in an acidic lemony tartness that is perfect for the summer heat. […]
Better Red Than Dead – Irish Red Ale
This rich and malty ale is inspired by the red ales of Ireland. We use English Maris Otter and continental caramel malts for a smooth malt backbone balanced with earthy English hops for a comforting finish. Easy drinking. If you like our Publican you’ll love this seasonal release.
Second Breakfast – Coffee Brown
This Southern English brown ale uses chocolate and caramel malts to give this beer its color, its malty backbone, and its distinctive roasted flavor. We’ve added Broomwagon Cold Brewed coffee to give it some pep. If you are a coffee lover, you will love this beer!
Wicked Throat Chamah – New England style IPA
This juicy New England style IPA is wicked awesome! It’s a nice alternative to West Coast IPAs. Dry hopped at the height of fermentation with tons of Citra and Amarillo, this beer is definitely hop forward but has almost no bitterness on the back end. It has a hazy orange color, and is full of […]
First Blood – Hefeweizen with Blood Orange
This refreshingly tart and crisp Bavarian style wheat ale has hints of banana, coriander and clove. In German the prefix “Hefe” means “with yeast”, hence the beer’s unfiltered and cloudy appearance. We’ve also added blood oranges in the fermenter which rounds out the beer with a subtle citrusy zest on the backend.
Spilt Milk – Milk Stout – on nitro
Our take on this classic style has big roasted barley flavor on the front end and balanced sweetness on the backend. Milk stout, sometimes called ‘cream’ or ‘sweet’ stout, is a stout containing lactose, a sugar derived from milk. Lactose is unfermentable by beer yeast, so it adds sweetness and body to the finished beer. […]
