Back by popular demand! The First Ever (that we know of) national children’s book tour at kid-friendly breweries, we will be at Two Blokes again! This time it is on Sept 15th starting at 12:30 PM (12 PM is 5 PM in parent time!).
If you are a parent that would like to drink* a beer in peace while your children are read to. You should come. You have earned it.
At 12:30PM, we will have local author Alyson Murphy Kenny read her book “The Manatee Who Found Mindfulness” and then WCBD Anchor OLIVIA PARSONS will join us and read ” The Adventures of Duke, The Therapy Dog: Duke Finds A Home”.
We will have our usual Temporary Tattoo Station, Coloring Station, Play Area and DIY photobooth.
Fun times will be had, beers will be sipped in peace for a promised 30 seconds.
Brewery Doors will open at 12:00PM.
Local Charity: Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue
Two Blokes will also be fundraising for South Carolina-based Phoenix Rising Border Collie Rescue (PRBCR). Tassie, our brewery dog, and Digger, her mate, were both rescued by PRBCR and would not be in our lives if not for the kindness and generosity of their fostering family and volunteers. So please come out to show your support for this wonderful organization! $1 from every pint sold during this event will be donated to PRBCR. Ciaburri’s food truck will be serving from 1 – 6pm.
