Pint Night – Postpartum Support Charleston

Tuesday, April 30th – Two Blokes will be hosting a Pint Night for Postpartum Support Charleston. $1 of each pint sold that evening will be donated to the organization to benefit the 16th Moms’ Run 5K and Family Fun Day, which is set for May 11th on Daniel Island.

High To Lowcountry barbeque will be there serving up brisket, pulled pork, smoked wings, collard greens, corn, mac and cheese, and more at 5PM.

The annual Moms’ Run race is in memory of Ruth Rhoden Craven who sadly took her life after suffering from postpartum depression after the birth of her son. He was just 2 months old. This race honors her memory and the many other women who took their lives. It is a support system for moms struggling with postpartum depression and the many survivors of this illness.

All of the money raised from the Mom’s Run goes directly back to the community providing support and resources for moms struggling with ppd. Postpartum Support Charleston offer free support through our Moving Into Motherhood online support community, in person support groups, as well as access to the Mom Mentors who are trained as peer supporters to moms in the community.

Come out and drink a pint in support of this important cause.
